Doby Sediment Filter

The Doby sediment filter with a 5, 20 or 50 micron pleated sediment water filter cartridge is primarily used to remove sediment from your water.

Use the Doby sediment filter as a pre-filter to a UV system so that the inside of the UV quartz sleeve doesn't get damaged. 

Alternatively, install it so that filters that come after in a filter sequence don't get clogged up with loads of sediment.

Allow for a minimum of 28" (72cm) height x 12" (30cm) width x 7" (18cm) depth when fitting the Doby sediment filter.

Your kit will include:

• 1 x big blue 20 filter housing
• 1 x white housing bracket
• 1 x 5, 20 or 50 micron pleated sediment filter cartridge.
• Either 1/2 for 15mm or 3/4 for 22mm ports
• Isolating flexis (no need for extra ball valves)
• 1 x double check valve
• 1 x housing spanner
• Fitting instructions for your plumber

Cartridge details:

• 5 micron (WPC5FF20), 20 micron (WPC20FF20) or 50 micron (WPC50FF20)
• Pleated filter media.
• Reduces sediment, dirt, scale and rust. Also gives excellent resistance to chemicals and bacteria.
• Cellulose free, 100% synthetic media.
• Maximum temperature - 140°F (60°C)
• Minimum temperature - 40°F (4.4°C)
• Maximum pressure - 40 psid
• Minimum pressure - 25 psid
• Filter media - polypropylene
• Material (centre tube) - polypropylene
