Please note that the cartridges below are NOT suitable for the Franke TFE500. The only place we know of that you can purchase these is Triflow Concepts.

Our alternative to the Doulton W9223021 M15 screwfit replacement water filter cartridge. Compatible with Franke Triflow filter FRF02, FRX01®, FRX02® and FR9455 water filter systems.
There is absolutely no difference between Doulton and Franke cartridges apart from the price. Doulton cartridges are a lower priced but equally high quality compatible Franke cartridge replacement.
It's true that there are other cheaper brands on the market that would fit Franke water filter housings, but Doulton have been world leading manufacturers of water quality products for over 150 years. Doulton are a trusted UK brand and the perfect choice for Franke filters cartridges.
We advise changing your Franke compatible cartridge every six months, and we send an email to remind you.
There are 4 different filter housing types, and 2 different kinds of filter cartridge mounts.
It can be difficult to know which replacement cartridge you need and the serial number on the housing is no help.
The cartridge will either screw in and out (M15 mount) or push in and out (PF mount).
If you can't remember, or have never changed the cartridge, the best way to find out is to try removing it. Remember to turn off the water supply and drain the tap.
Once you've done that if you find it's a screw threaded cartridge then order this M15 replacement cartridge.
And if it's not then it must be a pushfit PF replacement cartridge.
