Fluoride Filters for Cumbria

Fluoride is naturally occuring and likely to be found in drinking water and many foods in varying amounts. It's also added to toothpaste. 

Water fluoridation schemes adjust fluoride levels in water supplies in an effort to reduce dental decay. 

Tooth decay (dental caries) caused by regularly eating and drinking sugary foods and drinks, is a significant problem for adults and children in England.

But, if you are not comfortable with fluoride in your water you can remove it. 

Here's how...

For people in Cumbria who wish remove the fluoride that has been added to their water supply we have a number of options.

The simplest and lowest cost is the Oyster TF - this is a two stage drinking water filter that is fitted under your ktchen sink with a separate filter tap.

If you would prefer to filter your entire water supply then the Moby TF or Moby F work well. The Moby TF also removes chlorine and other chemicals thereby improving the taste and odour of both your drinking water - it's especially beneficial for people with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Some older houses may still have lead pipes or there can be other heavy metal contamination - even in trace amounts these can be dangerous so we've developed the Moby TMF for the removal of chlorine, heavy metals and fluoride.

All our fluoride filters remove better than 99% of dissolved fluoride at common concentrations - to less than or similar to what is considered natural background levels.
