Moby Sediment Filter

Our pre-filter is ideal for filtering out any sediment before water treatment using our Moby Rio or UV system.

You MUST install a pre-filter with a minimum of 5 micron filtration and the reason for this is that any sediment in your water will coat the inside of the UV quartz sleeve making the UV ineffective and your water unsafe.

Your kit will include:

• 1 x big blue filter housing.
• 1 x white housing bracket.
• A choice of a 1 micron, 5 micron or 20 micron pleated sediment cartridge.
• Either 1/2 for 15mm or 3/4 for 22mm ports.
• Isolating flexis (no need for extra ball valves).
• 1 x double check valve.
• 1 x housing spanner.
• Fitting instructions for your plumber.

Cartridge details:

1 micron absolute (PS-45097-1A), 5 micron (WPC5FF975) or 20 micron (PS-45097-20) pleated sediment cartridge (or equivalent depending on stock availability).

We send out an email every 6 months to remind you to check your filter performance.
