£496.00
Innovative portable reverse osmosis system and boiling water dispenser in one compact unit.

SKU: ZEROIP-II

Product Description

The Osmio Zero is a innovative portable countertop reverse osmosis system and boiling water dispenser in one compact unit.

Available in a classy white. It will be sure to suit any kitchen set up.

It does not need to be plumbed in like other undersink reverse osmosis systems. The fact that it's installation free makes it such a versatile unit. Because you just plug it in, if you move house, it moves with you!

The Osmio Zero comes with a detailed user maintenance manual. We recommend standing the unit on a tray or glass bench protector.

How big is the Osmio Zero?

Ensure you've got space on your kitchen bench. The dimensions and weight are as follows:

  • Height: 38 cm
  • Width: 18 cm
  • Depth: 41 cm (approx 50 cm including drip tray)
  • 7kg weight
  • Maximum Bottle Height with Tray in position: 22cm
  • Maximum Bottle Height without Tray in position: 24cm

What filter cartridges does the Osmio Zero contain?

The Osmio Zero contains the following water filter cartridges:

  1. Sediment filter cartridge 5 micron: removes any coarse particles.
  2. Activated carbon filter cartridge: removes chlorine and organic impurities
  3. Reverse Osmosis membrane 50GPD: removes all pollutants and flavours to almost 100%
  4. Insertion Filter cartridge: post membrane polishing cartridge.

We recommend changing the cartridges every 6-12 months.

What water temperatures does the Osmio Zero provide?

A simple turn of the dial on your Osmio Zero will deliver water at four different temperatures.

  • Normal temperature water (approx. 25 ° C), ideal for direct drinking
  • Warm water (40 ° C - 50 ° C) ideal for lukewarm water
  • Hot water (80 ° C - 88 ° C) ideal for coffee
  • Nearly boiling water (90 ° C - 98 ° C) ideal for tea

The system reaches 100°C but loses up to 5°C of heat when travelling towards the dispenser. A helpful tip is to select the 100°C setting, let the water get hot, fill your cup so that's hot. Then press stop and empty your cup. Select the 100°C setting again and the hotter your water will be!

Important factor to consider before buying the Osmio Zero

Do you live in a hard water area? - the Osmio Zero works effectively and efficiently up to a maximum water hardness of 250ppm CaCO3. Use our free tool to find out how hard the water is where you live. If you have harder water than 250ppm we recommend treating that first before your water goes through the Osmio Zero. Doing that will reduce limescale build up in the unit and means that you may not have to change the filter cartridges as often. Please contact us to find the best solutions to treat your hard water.

What are the benefits of an Osmio Zero?

  • Only 1 litre of waste water per 5 litres of filtered water, which is a lot less than plumbed in undersink reverse osmosis water filters.
  • Replaces your kitchen kettle. Only use the water you need, instead of filling the kettle for one cuppa.
  • No installation needed. Just plug it in!
  • Aethstically pleasing and doesn't take up too much room on your kitchen bench.

How to recycle Osmio Zero water filter cartridges

  • Activated carbon filter and 50GPD membrane cartridges - cut the bottom of both cartridges off first (be careful). Remove the carbon and membrane elements and place in bin. Put remainder into plastics kerbside recycling.
  • Sediment filter cartridge - place into plastics kerbside recycling.
  • Insertion filter cartridge - This filter should again be cut in half and the contents emptied out into the bin before placing in plastics kerbside recycling.

Warranty information

The Osmio Zero has a 3-year free repair warranty for customers in mainland UK.

Other useful information about the Osmio Zero

  • Flow rate: 7.8 Litres Per Hour at 20°C water temperature
  • Water tank capacity: 5 litres
