Oyster Heavy Metals and Fluoride Drinking Water Filter

Our Oyster heavy metals and fluoride drinking water filter is a perfect choice if you are concerned about chlorine, fluoride levels, and heavy metals in your water and you want to remove them.

All water supplies in the UK contain some fluoride. We either receive water which has had its level of fluoride adjusted, or has a natural fluoride content of around 1 milligram per litre.

Removes and reduces: Sediment, Chlorine, Lead, Mercury, Arsenic, Copper, VOCs, THMs, hormones and more. Micron Rating: 10 Nominal.

You can mount this drinking water filter either under your sink or on a worktop.

The housing dimensions are 34H x 26W x 13D (volume occupied in cm).

Your kit will include:

• 2 x white filter housings.
• 1 x dual white housing bracket.
• 1 x granulated activated carbon & KDF55 filter cartridge (GAC10N/KDF-BOM) for metals, chlorine etc. reduction.
• 1 x 10 micron activated alumina cartridge (IF-SM-AA010) for fluoride reduction. Can also reduce levels of hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide.
• A choice of 5 taps, or you can choose the 'no tap' option.
• Either a self-piercing saddle valve or a 15mm compression valve.
• Red and Blue tubing (2 metres of each).
• 1 x housing spanner.
• DIY instructions - no need for a plumber.

• Contains 0.75lbs of KDF and 0.75 litres of GAC

• 2,500 gallons/11,365 litres cartridge lifespan, or 12 months; whichever comes first.

IF-SM-AA010 (fluoride reduction)

• 2.5 x 10"
• 10 micron
• Activated Alumina - fine white granulated media designed to reduce fluoride levels.
• Temperature range - 40°F to 100°F
• Pressure range - 25 PSI (1.7 BAR) to 100 PSI (6.9 BAR)
• Capacity - 5000mg/l

What order do the cartridges go in?

In most circumstances the lowest micron rated cartridge goes last in the sequence (on the water out / blue tubing side). For the Oyster Heavy Metals and Fluoride water filter the 20 micron GAC10N/KDF-BOM cartridge goes first in the sequence, followed by the 10 micron activated alumina (fluoride reduction) cartridge.
