The Fountain Streamline 1000 High Flow RO System is designed for applications where a standard domestic reverse osmosis system simply can't produce enough purified water.
With twin 500 GPD reverse osmosis membranes, it can deliver up to 120 litres per hour, making it suitable for larger households, offices and other settings with higher drinking water requirements.
Water is purified through four stages of treatment, combining sediment and carbon pre-filtration, reverse osmosis and final carbon filtration. The system is mounted on a robust frame with an integrated pump and produces purified water directly, without requiring a separate storage tank.
Its higher output makes the Streamline 1000 particularly useful where larger quantities of RO water are needed throughout the day, without the wait associated with lower-capacity systems.
The Streamline 1000 is considerably larger than a compact under-sink RO system, so check the available installation space carefully.
You'll also need a suitable mains cold water supply, waste connection and electrical supply for the pump.
Consider how much purified water you genuinely need. The main reason to choose the Streamline 1000 is its higher production capacity; if you don't require that level of output, a smaller RO system may be the better fit.
The Streamline 1000 combines pre-filtration with reverse osmosis to reduce a wide range of contaminants from drinking water.
| Contaminant | Reduction |
| PFAS | ✔ |
| Lead and other heavy metals | ✔ |
| Chlorine, taste and odour | ✔ |
| Dissolved salts and minerals (TDS) | ✔ |
| Nitrates | ✔ |
| Fluoride | ✔ |
| Bacteria and other microorganisms | ✔ |
| Sediment and fine particles | ✔ |

The Streamline 1000 is a point-of-use purification system, not a whole-house filter, so it won't treat all the water entering your property.
Reverse osmosis also reduces naturally occurring dissolved minerals along with unwanted contaminants. If retaining the mineral content of your incoming water is important to you, a non-RO filtration system may be more suitable.
The Streamline 1000 is built around high-capacity filtration components designed to cope with greater water demand.
The system's twin pumps provide the pressure required by the two RO membranes, while rejected contaminants are carried away in the wastewater stream.

The Streamline 1000 is a frame-mounted system measuring approximately 880mm (H) x 530mm (W) x 380mm (D), so it requires more installation space than a compact under-sink RO unit.
Installation requires a suitable cold mains water supply, waste connection and electrical supply for the booster pumps. The supplied drinking water tap also requires a suitable mounting position at the sink or worktop.
Allow enough clearance around the system for routine servicing and replacement of the 20" pre-filters and RO membranes.
Because of the size, weight and plumbing requirement of the Streamline 1000, professional installation is recommended.
Routine maintenance involves replacing the sediment and carbon pre-filters, post-carbon filter and RO membranes as they reach the end of their service life.
Replacement frequency will depend on water quality and the volume of water produced. Changing the pre-filters when required is particularly important because they help protect the RO membranes and maintain system performance.
The pressure gauge provides a useful indication of operating conditions, while a noticeable reduction in purified water output can indicate that the system needs servicing.
Replacement filters and membranes are available separately.
It is designed for higher-demand applications where a smaller domestic RO system may not produce enough purified water, including larger households, offices and other settings with regular demand throughout the day.
The Streamline 1000 can produce up to 120 litres of purified water per hour, depending on incoming water conditions.
No. The system produces purified water directly, so a separate RO storage tank isn't required.
Yes. An electrical supply is required to operate the twin booster pumps.
